Handsome Guy, Little Dude, Little Tank

This picture was not planned. Rhett always makes this face. Saydee glanced at him right before I took this picture, and copied what he was doing. It made for a super cute picture.

We were taking this picture for all of Chi-town, and for their daddy.

Just another day doing dishes.

Baby Boy, Brothers, Blessings, and Birthdays!

Life has been busy! Here are some things we have been up to...

Baby boy Rhett Harrison Sutarik was born on May 29th. He was a whopping 10 lbs 2 ounces. He was born with lots of hair, and is an easy going little guy.

Scott was home from the USAFA for only 4 days before he left on his mission. This is the day he went through the temple.

Somehow we had time to swim...

Baby Rhett was blessed while Scott was home. This is our church building in Seattle.

Our newest family picture. Yes, I know I look exhausted. That's because I am!

The latest family picture. I am sure my mom will choose a much more serious version of this picture to send out for this year's Christmas card.

Somehow we had time to go down slides too...

Baby Rhett is finally here!

Saydee is 2! Here she is with her Thomas cake!

Saydee and her best friend Mallory. I am so glad that I finally caught their cute hugs on camera. Mallory gave Saydee a matching tutu for her birthday.

Another picture of me looking exhausted with my new baby boy.

The first time Saydee met Rhett.

After a very hard, very intense, very natural labor, we were all in tears that he was finally here!

Here is little Rhett on his blessing day.

Saydee wasn't quite sure she wanted Rhett that close to her for a picture.

This is the last picture that we took of Scott and the kids before he left on his 2 year mission to Salta, Argentina.

Oh yeah, somewhere in the last few weeks it was my birthday too. This is the cake Ted and Saydee made for me. She put on the sprinkles...and ate most of the frosting off.

We are actually very blessed to have such a busy life recently. It was very busy but very wonderful. Life is good.

What we have been up to...

We have having a baby boy! I know that I am already 26 weeks pregnant, but hey, time goes by fast and I haven't been very diligent about blogging. I am due June 6th. Saydee's 2nd birthday is June 16th. They will be exactly 2 years apart. I don't know why June is our favorite month, but it's a party! We are super excited! Saydee is very cute about the whole thing. She always points to my tummy and says "baby" and gives it a kiss...although she also tries to push babies off my lap if I am holding somebody elses child...hummmm...we will see how this whole thing goes. This baby boy will have to put on his football gear right out of the womb to protect himself from his very busy toddler sister.

Uncle "Gott" made a surprise visit home on February 12th. It was Presidents' Day weekend (and Valentine's Day), and it all worked out so perfectly. We picked him up at the airport Friday night, and went to my mom's house. Scott hid in his old room, and then I asked my mom and dad to come see something I had in my bag (which was in Scott's room). Scott jumped out and surprised them both. My mom screamed super loud. I have never heard her scream like that before. Not a horror scream, but a little school girl scream. We were all laughing so hard. He made the surprise visit because he recently received his mission call. He wanted the whole family to be there when he opened it. My was mom especially so happy to see her boy. So in Scott's room he read the letter with his mission call. It was to Salta, Argentina. We were all WAY off on our guesses. At least I guessed a country that started with the right letter. I guessed Australia. Scott will leave at the end of June! He will just barely get to meet our new little baby boy.

The weather here in Seattle has been so nice lately. We have been playing outside A LOT! Here is fearless Saydee diving down the slide without the least bit of hesitation.

Aunt Sydney came over for a semi-sleep over. She left late that night with my mom who was at the temple. We watched some awesome (sike) movies..."Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" and "Night at the Museum 2." Okay, so they weren't totally awesome. The funnest part of the night was the popcorn and just hanging out. Brynlee was there too. Ted too. And me.

This is what I do for my job for UW Family Housing...PARTIES! The Saturday before Valentine's Day I hosted a Valentine's Day Cookie Exchange. We exchanged cookies, and then wrapped up lots, and lots of plates of cookies to give to our neighbors around the complex.

Saydee and Aunt Brynlee. We are Washington Huskies. Did you know that?

Here is Saydee with her bike. Her favorite part of the entire biking experience is her "elmet." Yes, Saydee loves helmets. She has become obsessed with them lately. She sees people riding bikes all around Seattle, and always points out their helmets. She also makes sure that people are wearing their helmets. We were watching home videos recently of me riding my bike when I was in kindergarten, and I wasn't wearing a helmet. Saydee turned to me and put her hands in the air, and said "elmet mom?" I laughed and said, "yes, mommy should have been wearing a helmet huh?"

In the background you can see Ted and his totally sweet UW slippers that he wears everywhere. I think they are rather ridiculous...he loves them.

Here she is telling us what is on her head, a "elmet." That is why her mouth is open and her tongue is out.

Saydee's Great Grandpa Sutarik gave this "Tickle Me Elmo" to her when she was about 6 months old. We have kept it for her until now. She really loves little Elmo. She takes it outside, and plays with it all the time. He is always in the washer. Poor Elmo.

She also lost a boot while she was swinging. (by the way.)

Life is good. Seattle is great. We are going to Chicago next month to visit family and eat some Fox's pizza. We will take pictures. That is probably when I will be blogging next. See you in March! I hope you are all doing well.

Christmas and LOTS of other stuff!

These pictures go in opposite order of events...

This was a walk/park fun to burn some of those holiday calories. Saydee is wearing her super cute hat she got for Christmas from her Grandma Sutarik.

The Museum of Flight. Scott the fighter pilot.

My mom put pictures of Saydee on all her presents so she could pick them out. It was such a good idea. She could get right to them.

This is what happens when I say "smile."

Saydee carrying a 6 pound bag of gummy bears to "Gott!"

Aunt "Lindz a Pinz" made cinnamon rolls. De-LIsh!

Thomas! Saydee is obsessed.

The opening of Thomas!

Ted just had to SQUEEZE on in there.

Aunt Brynlee fed Saydee as many candy canes as she wanted. She is officially obsessed with candy canes.

Our visit with Santa...I think it went well. Don't you think?

The "kitty" towel. I just thought it was a cute picture moment.

Saydee with her blanket from her grandma Sutarik. We had our own little Christmas where we opened most of our presents before we went to my mom's house...for more.

I am laughing because of what Saydee is doing. It is so hard to get a good picture.

This little playground is right out our back door. This day she was a little hesitant to go down the slide. Today to took her out to play, and she just took off with out me. She climbed up the stairs, and then she went head first down the slide. I almost didn't catch her! What the heck happened?

Saydee and her BFF Mallory, or as she calls her "Manya." This was a kinda sleepover... and then Mallory's mom came.

Saydee and Mallory. Mallory always says, "Saydee funny." She is absolutely right. Saydee is pretty funny and crazy! Little Mallory gives this look a lot. I thought it was priceless.

Ted's Christmas present. My family helped me set it up for him. He was super surprised!

Just a picture for Grandma Sutarik. Saydee wearing her super cute hat made just for her.
